“ Today was the first time in years I sat down at a Rudy's restaurant. The atmosphere was very welcoming from entering the door to leaving when done. Garrett who was one of the employees there greeted with such respect and made sure all questions we had were answered, that is rarely seen these days. Employees at the counter were very eager to help and Gabe who was one of them took our order and made sure we were taken care of and made sure all questions were answered. A big plus about this location is there is a truck stop next to it and they honor and respect veterans. I deeply recommend this location for all my fellow Veterans and Truck drivers and if you're in the area and want some delicious barbecue and magnificent service. Stop in and ask for Gabe or Garrett, but I'm 100 percent comfortable saying you will get a tremendous experience. ”
“ Love love love this place and I live in Lockhart, the BBQ Capital of Texas. This place blew me away!! I judge my BBQ places by their banana pudding. If they do t have real bananas, they lose points. This place had bananas. I suggest they add more but I was happy. Slice brisket sandwich was delicious in every way. ”

The bbq is decent, not the best I've ever had but still good for the family and the price, in my opinion.
